NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • Set between the events of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, the never-before-told story that began with Star Wars: Aftermath continues in this thrilling novel, the second book of Chuck Wendig’s bestselling trilogy.

It is a dark time for the Empire. Another entertaining installment in the Dread Empire series. This is an interesting novel, in that the first 60% covers many of the same events as the previous book, Reap the East this case, we get (mostly) the perspectives of Bragi, Michael, and Inger in regards to those events; it really sheds some new light on the political workings of the various factions.4/5.

Star Wars: Aftermath is a Star Wars novel by Chuck Wendig, published on September 4, by Del Rey Books. Set soon after the events of the film Return of the Jedi, Aftermath is the first of a trilogy that explores the time period between that film and 's The Force Awakens.

Aftermath: Empire’s End by Chuck Wendig is the latest and final book in the Aftermath trilogy. It picks up right where Life Debt left off.

The Empire has gathered at the backwater planet of Jakku under the guidance of Gallius Rax. Grand Admiral Sloane is now an outcast from the Empire but our crew of heroes is still tracking her down.

The legacy of ill-tempered battle droids in Star Wars continues in the third book in the canon Aftermath trilogy, Empire’s End, especially when Mister Bones — a Author: Corey Plante.

When all was said and done, the Empire was no more and the ill-fated era of the New Republic truly began. The Battle of Jakku, and indeed the entire Aftermath trilogy, encompasses several critically acclaimed stories, but the remolding of the Empire's defeat made Endor feel far less significant in the grand scheme of the Galactic Civil War Author: Craig Elvy.
